A man accused of hurting three people during a multivehicle crash Sunday in Copiague has been charged with DWI.
Authorities say 55-year-old Jerzy Wronski rear-ended another vehicle around 9:40 p.m. between Deauville Boulevard and Beachview Street on Montauk Highway.
The driver and two passengers were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.
Another parked vehicle was also struck and damaged in the collision.
Wronski’s Jeep overturned and fire officials say they had to flip and haul it away from the scene.
Police say he was held overnight and is scheduled to be arraigned Monday at First District Court in Central Islip.
