2ds agoNewark police say an 11-year-old boy is recovering after being injured in a hit-and-run crash.
Police say the boy was struck near South Munn and South Orange avenues around 4:45 p.m. Wednesday. The driver did not stop, according to officials.
The boy was taken to the hospital and is expected to be OK.
Newark police are asking anyone with information about the incident to contact them.
