A truck driver was sentenced to three to 12 years in prison for a crash that killed a Baldwin father and his two children in Pennsylvania in 2024.
Santos M. Valentin was found guilty of scrolling on his phone in the moments before the collision.
The Landcaster County District Attorney's Office says Valentin crashed a FedEx tractor-trailer into the back of the 43-year-old Donnell Hickson's vehicle on the Pennsylvania Turnpike.
The crash killed Hickson, his 18-year-old son, Decir Hickson, and his 11-year-old daughter.
