There are 7 adults and 2 children without a home in Hempstead after a house fire early Sunday morning.
The fire broke out around 1 a.m. on Webb Avenue.
Fire officials say 75 firefighters responded and battled the flames for roughly 45 minutes before bringing the fire under control.
No injuries were reported.
The Red Cross is assisting the nine displaced residents with relocation efforts.
Investigators with the Nassau County Fire Marshal's Office and the Nassau County Police Department Arson/Bomb Squad are working to determine the cause and origin of the fire.
