A Bay Shore man pleaded guilty in court Thursday to raping multiple victims and trafficking women, including exploiting a 13-year-old girl, according to Suffolk County District Attorney Ray Tierney.
Prosecutors say Danny St. Louis supplied drugs to his victims to manipulate and control them. They say that in 2023, he met the 13-year-old through an acquaintance, gave her cocaine, and sexually abused her three times while actively getting her addicted.
According to prosecutors, the abuse did not stop until after she ran away from a residential drug treatment facility and was found by police in a hotel room with him on October 8, 2024.
Prosecutors say St. Louis used similar tactics to control two adult women over the course of a year, providing drugs while forcing them into prostitution for his financial gain.
They say St. Louis then arranged to meet a fourth victim, a 20-year-old woman, at a Hauppauge hotel on March 3, 2024. Prosecutors say he plied her with crack cocaine and stayed with her in the hotel for two days, during which time her family filed a missing person’s report.
While they were together, prosecutors say he accused the 20-year-old of stealing his crack cocaine and forced her to undress, shower, and have sex with him to repay the alleged debt. They say he recorded the interaction and intended to use the video to solicit potential sex buyers.
Prosecutors say the woman later managed to leave the hotel and contact her family.
More than a week later, St. Louis was arrested after agreeing to give a buyer with sex and drugs in exchange for money, according to prosecutors.
On Thursday, more than two years after his arrest, prosecutors say he pleaded guilty to three counts of rape, two counts of sex trafficking, and one count of attempted sex trafficking.
He is expected back in court on June 23, and prosecutors say he will likely be sentenced to 15 years in prison with 10 years of post-release supervision.
