A house fire left two adults, and two children displaced early Thursday morning in Hempstead.

Fire officials say they responded to the two-story residence on Parsons Drive after receiving a call around 7:41 a.m.

Upon arrival, crews battled flames found on the second floor. They controlled the blaze in under 60 minutes.

Around 60 firefighters from Uniondale, West Hempstead, South Hempstead, Rockville Centre and Garden City helped the Hempstead Fire Department.

Officials say smoke detectors were inside the home at the time. No injuries were reported.

The Red Cross is assisting the displaced individuals.

The cause of the fire was not immediately clear.
