McDonald's is launching its largest hiring initiative in five years, with plans to bring on up to 375,000 workers nationwide ahead of the summer season.
The fast-food chain said more than 4,200 of those jobs will be in New Jersey.
McDonald's operates 13,000 restaurants across the U.S. and plans to open 900 new locations over the next two years.
The hiring push follows the company's second straight quarter of declining sales — its worst drop since the height of the pandemic — as customers cut back on spending.
