A 28-year-old Levittown man was arrested after committing a lewd act in front of a 17-year-old girl in Merrick.

Nassau County police say the teen was out for a run on July 21 when she noticed a gray Nissan Rogue that appeared to be following her.

When the girl arrived home, police say she saw the same vehicle parked outside with a man inside who had his pants down and was committing a lewd act while looking at her.

Detectives arrested Justin Sullivan on Thursday at the Merrick Stop & Shop, where he works.

Police said during the arrest they recovered what they believe to be LSD.

Sullivan is charged with public lewdness and criminal possession of a controlled substance.

According to public court records, he was arraigned the day after his arrest, and a temporary order of protection was issued. He was later released on bail.

He has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
