Floral Park police are asking for help to catch a scammer. Police say a person on the north side of the village was asking people for directions on Sunday. When speaking to a potential victim, the scammer offered them a necklace and attempted to remove the one they were currently wearing. The victim saw it coming and called police. Police say the scammer is a woman with a multi-colored dress who was accompanied by a white car. Anyone who recognizes her is asked to call police.
